Paris Hilton Leaves Japan After Being Denied Entry, Headed Back To U.S.

TOKYO, Japan -- Paris Hilton is headed back home after the heiress was denied entry into Japan on Tuesday due to her recent stateside drug violation.
"About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia," Paris Tweeted early Wednesday morning. "I promise to come back soon. I love you all!"
According to the Associated Press, Paris spoke with reporters as she boarded a private jet bound for the U.S.
"I'm going back home, and I look forward to coming back to Japan in the future," she said.
The AP reported that Japanese immigration officials questioned her for a total of six hours over the last two days. The heiress has also reportedly cancelled planned appearances in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta, Indonesia.
On Tuesday, the reality star's rep released a statement about her border crossing snafu.
"Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier," a rep for the star told Access Hollywood. "Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn't want to let down her brands and many Asian fans. She intended on fulfilling her contract and is trying hard to do the responsible thing, but this is beyond her control. She is very disappointed by tonight's events."
