The label behind Young Buck's "The Rehab" album opens up a contest to aspiring producers to get a remix credit to "Ya Better Know It."
California's Real Talk Entertainment has released charting albums from the likes of Freeway, Sheek Louch and most recently, Young Buck. Last month, the imprint struck success in The Rehab, a collection of Buck songs licensed to the label, which cracked the Top 200 of the charts.
Backed by the single of "Ya Better Know It," The Rehab has now begun promotions via a remix contest opened up to the general public.
To enter, email jonhay@gmail.com and you will be sent the official Young Buck “Ya Better Know It” acapella (with bpm) for you to create this track and showcase your production skills. Be sure to include “Real Talk Entertainment Contest” in the email subject line.
After you complete the song, send it to jonhay@gmail.com. We will listen to every submission that comes in. We will be accepting entries from October 7, 2010 – October 28, 2010 at midnight PST. It’s that simple.
