Artist development company Music Nation recently announced that The Game, Nelly and the president of urban music at Jive Records, Mark Pitts, will judge their online video music competition.

The 15-week competition for unsigned artists in the urban, pop and rock genre's will culminate with the winner in each category getting a recording contract with Epic Records. All three winners will also perform on an episode of Clear Channel Radio's in-studio performance series "Stripped."

In addition to Nelly, The Game, and The Notorious B.I.G.'s former manager Mark Pitts, Good Charlotte stars Joel and Benji Madden, along with producer Howard Benson, will be judging the rock category, while 50 Cent and Rihanna's producer Jonathan "J.R." Rotem and Charlie Walk, president of Epic Records, will determine a winner in the pop category.

"There are so many artists out there on the come up, grinding away to get discovered and have their music heard by the masses. Music Nation is the demo tape of today and I'm glad to be a judge in the competition," The Game said via statement.

The Music Nation competition has already attracted over 1,000 videos from unsigned artists ages 14 and older and the contest is now officially open for voting. Fans can register to vote as well as enter to compete on musicnation.com.

Every week the public, along with the music industry panel of judges, will determine two winners in each genre, allowing winners to move on to the next phase of competition. The 12 initial weeks of competition are followed by three weeks of quarterfinals, semifinals and finals until the 15th week, when a winner is selected from each music genre.
