Nas officially answered his Hip Hop Is Dead track "Where Are They Now" by releasing a remix that features several of the once famous hip-hop stars that have since fallen into obscurity.

The "Where Are They Now" remix features 90's rappers Redhead Kingpin, Rob Base, Original Spinderella, Father MC, Monie Love, Mike Gee of the Jungle Brothers, E-S-T of 3XDope, Positive K, Das Efx, DoItAll of Lords of the Underground, Chip-Fu of the Fu-Schnickens and Dres of Black Sheep spittin' over the "Where Are They Now" track blended with beats from their 90's hits, including "It Takes Two," "We Want Efx," "True Fu-Schnick"and "The Choice is Yours," among others.

One by one the quieted MC's re-emerge with lyrics and flow, exemplifying why they are - as one Das Efx member puts it-"your favorite rapper's rapper's rapper." Though upbeat, the spirited remix also features lamentations that Pac and Big aren't alive to witness it. Nas also offers a shout out to Native Tongues rapper Chi-Ali, who is currently jailed.
