Jay-Z is set to move into a plush new $65,000 per month apartment in Trump World Towers in New York City.
According to the New York Post, the hip hop mogul will be upgrading to a luxurious 14-room condo on one of the top floors of the swank 90-floor East Side complex. The Brooklyn-born MC will also become neighbors with New York Yankee all-star, Derek Jeter, who also resides in the building only one floor below.
The condo comes with equipped with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two fire places, two powder rooms, a gourmet kitchen, soaring ceilings, a library, unobstructed city views and a maid's quarters. The building also boasts a full service health club and spa, complete with an indoor pool, wine cellar, a residents-only garden and room service from popular Japanese restaurant Megu.
The Def Jam CEO's former residence, a 4,800 sq. ft, $40,000 per month apartment in TimeWarnerCenter in Manhattan, was recently sold for $27 million. Jay-Z has been known to show interest in high-profile residences in the past, even attempting to acquire Robert Dinero's Tribeca triplex in 2004 for over $13 million.
