i think the punishment is not enough. u a celebrity and u get treated specially? HE IMPERSONATED A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL WHILE TRYING TO STEAL A CAR, then HE SHOWED UP LATE FOR A SUBPOENA. i say, and i have no knowledge of what the law states the length of the punishment should be, give dmx the maximum amount for impersonating a gov't official, the max for attempted grand theft auto, and the max for showing up late for ur court date. especially if he had a criminal record in the past

i guess you cant no more "Gangsta" than X hah..he's spending too many days w/ a fucked up life, if he does get that 1 yr sentence i hope its clears his head and start to change his life..remember this is the dude that retired for a while to become a minister
