11/5/08 Havoc Clears Up Mobb Deep Rumors

With his partner Prodigy currently in jail, Havoc (the other half of Mobb Deep) cleared up some rumors that have been going around. N.O.R.E. recently claimed that Prodigy, who suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia, got the wrong medication in jail and had an almost deadly reaction. Havoc told Sohh "His health is good as far as I know, He's in good spirits. He wants to get the f*ck out but he's feeling good. We just want to hurry up and get him home and get back to normal life." It will be 2011 before Prodigy can resume that life as he is currently serving a 3 1/2 year sentence.

With Prodigy in jail, meaning no new Mobb Deep material will be coming anytime soon, rumors circulated that Mobb Deep's relationship with 50 Cent is suffering but Havoc says that’s not true. "It's a pretty good relationship," Havoc said. 50 signed the group to his G-Unit records back in 2005. Havoc says that 50 recently hit him up for a track for his upcoming "Before I Self Destruct" album but he hasn't got one secured yet. "They real picky so you gotta hit him in the head with like a million tracks before you really get something because [as] you can understand they trying to put out the best album possible" Havoc said.

Havoc went on to say that he will be producing beats for the new album from Method Man and Redman plus is finishing up his next solo disc that will hit stores next year on Koch.

Well I hope Havoc does his thang and everything goes good for him. Shit, Prodigy not out til 2011. That seems like quite some time.
