After yesterday's video [watch here] from Soulja Boy, Charles Hamilton has come forward to explain his coments that sparked the video from his fellow label mate. “I was called “the new Soulja Boy”… you don’t think that would piss you off if you were NOTHING like Soulja Boy,” Hamilton wrote on his blog. “I wasn’t tryna diss him… I was talkin aggressively out of frustration…”

In related news, Charles Hamilton recently released his new album "The Pink Lavalamp" [download here], holding a release party/listening session in New York on Monday (12/08). The new mixtape is the third in a series he calls "The Hamiltonization Process." Hamilton explains saying “If my time on this Earth is cut short because of this release, fine. I was born to make this album and I chose to accept the mission of releasing it when I felt the time was right.”
