Unfortunately for anyone with ears, DJ Khaled is alive and well. Rumors spread across the internet yesterday that a man who looked like DJ Khaled led police on a four-hour chase in Hollywood. LAPD officer Karen Smith said the driver of the $100,000 car was despondent, allegedly armed and suicidal. The driver was reportedly was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon on his girlfriend.

The overwhelmingly annoying DJ released an official statement today that said "This is DJ Khaled and due to recent press and news reports I feel compelled to release a statement. Just to be clear I am in Miami, FL working on Rick Ross' album, Deeper Than Rap. I am not in LA where there are reports that I have been in a police chase. These reports are completely false and unfounded."

So it looks like we will still be trying to hear music under loud screams of "DJ Khaled... We The Best" in the future. Do us a favor Khaled, lose your voice.
