3/4/09 Flo Rida Clears Up Chris Brown Song Issue

Postby fearless31666 » Mar 4th, '09, 21:04

Flo Rida is now saying all the recent reports about him removing a collaboration with Chris Brown from his upcoming album because of the drama with Rihanna, is simply not true. The Florida rapper says he was misquoted in a past interview "I think someone must have got it twisted," he said in a new interview. "The thing was, we have deadlines to meet and between his business and my business...we had to turn an album, so I had to really get everything together."

Flo Rida says the Chris Brown track wasn't the only that got cut. "It's not just that record, there were other records that couldn't make the album that I wanted to make the album as well, but that was the process, this was way before me ever hearing anything about [the incident]. This was way before, at least a month. I had been done with this record."

Flo Rida was previously quoted saying he took the Chris Brown record off his album because of his Rihanna drama. The quote in question was "I recorded a great song with Chris but I won't be releasing it now because of what's going on with him and Rihanna. It could have been my next number one."
