Waiting for Lil Wayne's new "Rebirth" album? Well you will have to wait a little longer. The new album has been pushed back yet again, this time to around the middle of summer. Although an official statement has yet to be released, the album looks like it should hit stores in late July (it was previously set for a drop date of June 23rd).
Fat Joe's upcoming "J.O.S.E. 2" LP has also been delayed. It was set to drop last Tuesday (but who would want to go against Eminem, Method Man, Redman, Busta Rhymes and DJ Drama). "We wanted to make sure we had a second single in the marketplace," Fat Joe says. "We dropped the first single with Akon and will be coming soon with the T-Pain joint."
Fat Joe first said the album was delayed with a Twitter saying it was due to a sample clearance issue but obviously we all know the real reason now. The new album features cameos from Lil Wayne, Ron Browz, Lil Kim, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, and Raekwon.
