Foxy Brown Sporting Gucci Sneakers In Prison
Reports have been going aroudn that state Foxy Brown was getting celebrity special treatment while she was serving her prison sentnece last year, but now a corrections spokesman has denied the claims. Stephen Morello recently replied to the stories that Foxy Brown was allowed to wear her Gucci sneakers in jail and even got media interviews.
Morello said yesterday (June 21) that Brown's 2008 jailhouse interview and photo shoot with a hip-hop magazine, her sporting Gucci sneakers and a Fendi scarf in the prison, and purported extended visits in her cell with a chaplain fell within normal guidelines. "Inmates were entitled to wear their own clothing," he explained. "That's her choice. The interviews were approved by the [Department of Correction's] Department of Media Services. We do it as a matter of routine." He noted that The Post has conducted many interviews in city jails and that Brown's lasted for about one hour, which is standard procedure.

Jamie Foxx Doesn't Agree With Jay-Z
Many "singers" have come forward to address Jay-Z saying that Autotune is dead. The latest to give his opinion is singer slash actor Jamie Foxx. [watch here] "He's challenging those guys who are simply relying on it and you know that's what hip-hop is." [watch here]
Fox went on to talk about Jay-Z's spot in music. "But for Jay-Z, he's a god when it comes to hip-hop. So I'ma ride with him no matter what. I don't think the song is meant to tell everyone that's using autotune to stop what they're doing because you can't stop a movement. Everything runs its course, but when it comes to real emcees, Jay-Z never has to do another record in his life...Even with 'Blame It' with as good as it is right now, 'Blame It' will never hold a candle to 'Allow me to re-introduce myself...'" Update: BEP Manager Turns Himself In
Toronto police have arrested and charged the manager for the Black Eyed Peas with assault after he allegedly gave Perez Hilton a black eye. As we previously reported, Hilton got into an arguement [watch here] with Fergie and Will.I.AM at the Cobra nightclub early Monday morning and was punched by Polo Molina, the group's tour manager. [watch here]
There was a reason that Polo Molina turned himself in. Reports say that the Toronto police said they would not let any of the Black Eyed Peas out of the country unless they arrested him, and with the group currently on tour, being stuck in one city would be a major problem.
"He was like ‘You need to respect me.’ He was in my face. He was obviously trying to intimidate me and scare me," Hilton said. [watch here] "I was like ‘I don’t need to respect you. I don’t respect you and I did say this, and I knew that it would be the worst thing I could possibly say to him because he was acting the way he was. I said ‘You know what, I don’t respect you and you’re gay and stop being such a faggot" [watch here]

Update: Chris Brown Cops A Plea
Well the Chris Brown slash Riahnna fiasco is over, at least the legal part. Chris Brown copped a plea deal today in his assault case. Although he will not be serving any jail time, he will have to serve 180 days of hard labor in Virgina. Brown, who will get five years of supervised probation for his Felony assault guilty plea, will have to report back to court every three months.
Chris Brown must also enroll in a domestic violence counseling program and was ordered to stay at least 50 yars away from Rihanna. Interesting enough, a judge ruled that if the two artists attend the same public event, the 50-yard rule will be reduced to only 10. Stating that Chris Brown "was treated as any other person who comes through this court," the judge ruled that if Brown violates his probration he could face up to four years in prison.

Tony Yayo Talks Having Security
It isn't a secret that rappers have security gaurds although some say they don't, kind of. Recently D-Block released their new album "No Security," but G-Unit member Tony Yayo says security is just part of the business. [watch here] "When you go to a club, sh*t is crazy," Yayo explained in a video. [watch here] "I done been to Cincinatti, Philly, Baltimore, Washington D.C., you go to them places and you do them little club venues, for you artists, you could get shot. In the middle of Manhattan, somebody will shoot, but not like in the middle of Baltimore or Philly." [watch here]
Yayo went on to talk about security risks being everywhere. "Me, I don't sleep on nowhere, I could be in f*cking Alaska and there's shooters out there too...A n*gga could say 'I don't need no vest, I don't need no bulletproof' it's because you're not relevant. You're not relevant. I'm quite aware of what somebody would do to me for [my watch] out here. Or this little pinky ring...I gotta watch how I move, I ain't no stupid n*gga." [watch here]

Update: Will.I.AM Fires Back At Perez
Will.I.Am took to his blog to respond to the infamous video rant [watch here] from Perez Hilton who said the Black Eyed Peas front man beat him up outside a club in Toronto after the Much Music awards last night.
"OK, so I'm on my way to sleep, and I get a text from a friend, and it says she reads on Twitter that I assaulted Perez Hilton. For those who were following my Dip [postings], I told you what happened," Will says. [watch here] "This dude twists it and says I assaulted him, when I was the one who came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a f----t outside of the club. Whatever. I hit you, Perez? Come on, dude, I didn't hit you. I told you that I didn't like the fact that you disrespected us." [watch here]
Will.I.Am goes on... "Dude, apparently you were bleeding outside the club. I was, like, next to you by a tree. I was waiting for my car. And instead of calling the police, you [Tweeted] that I assaulted you. Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned with his health," Will continued. [watch here] "I didn't hit you. And this is very wrong that you are [Tweeting] that I did that, once again disrespecting me and everything that I stand for. And they're lies. And that's wrong. Shame on you. Shame on your behavior." [watch here]
