I read the article on this - and a previous statement mentioned in this thread was not true.

The teacher apparently flipped out on the kid because the KID picked-on/punched a special-needs child in the class.

Is the teacher still wrong? That's debatable - but any kid who makes fun of disabled children deserves an ass whoopin. It's just better if the parents are the ones giving it.

Haha - actually the teacher got pissed because the kid was picking on a mentally challenged kid. I think the kid deserved to get his ass whooped to be honest (not saying it had to be by the teacher, but you get my point).
