It's hung. At least that's what I was taught. Hanged doesn't sound right
It's linked here, but to clear it up:
Hanged= past tense of hang when the word is used in terms of execution.
ex: That prisoner was hanged.
Hung= past tense for any other use of hang.
ex: I hung my clothes on the clothesline.
Don't ask me why that is...the English language never makes sense
