Justin Bieber Investigated for Assaulting 12-Year-Old

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating teen pop star Justin Bieber for assaulting a 12-year-old boy during a game of laser tag, TMZ reported over the weekend. The alleged assault took place Friday afternoon in Richmond, British Columbia, at Planet Lazer Entertainment Centre. Justin Bieber, according to various reports, hit or punched the other boy, some say in the face. Justin and his reps are saying it didn't happen quite that way...
"We are investigating an alleged assault that occurred on Friday afternoon around 5:30 at a local entertainment center," RCMP Corporal Annie Linteau told RadarOnline.com. "Apparently a 12-yr old boy was assaulted. The 12-years old boy's father called police. The boy sustained minimal injuries and did not require medical attention.
"We're in the early stages in our investigations and are conducting interviews with people who witnessed the alleged incident."
According to TMZ, authorities have concluded that Justin Bieber was not at fault in the incident.
TMZ reported that Justin may have been the victim of "homophobic bullying." Sources have come forward saying that the teen star was cornered during the game and the 12-year-old wouldn't stop shooting him. When the pop star told him, "That's enough!", the kid asked, "What are you gonna do about it, f----t?"
Witnesses said Justin Bieber appeared surprised and asked, "Excuse me?"
The boy then allegedly said, "You're a f----t," and reached toward Justin.
Apparently, Justin Bieber then brushed the boy's hand aside and left the game area. However, a TMZ source said that several witnesses noted that the 12-year-old's father was later heard declaring that he was a lawyer and was filing charges against Bieber for striking his son. Justin stuck around and, when police arrived, told them he had accidentally touched the boy's face. He was then allowed to leave.
"Zack Taylor," a Canadian entertainment blog, posted a photo of the kids going into the game area and an eyewitness account by a staff member at the establishment. According to the anonymous staffer, Justin Bieber was cornered by the kid and a few of his friends. They said Bieber seemed to do what any other person would -- try to get away. In so doing, he "accidentally hit the kid while running away." The staffer noted that, although the boy's sister said he cried after being hit, there were no marks.
And if the other kids there weren't Justin Bieber fans before they got to the laser tag center, they probably were afterward. Justin paid for the entire round of laser tag.
The investigation is pending.
