T.I. Supporters Lobby For Rapper's Freedom, "King Uncaged" Officially Delayed

Amazon says that the next album from the troubled Rap star sits at December 7, while a group of fans fights to keep the king uncaged.
Atlanta, Georgia Rap superstar T.I. has been sentenced to 11 months in prison for his September parole violation involving multiple drug offenses during a traffic stop with wife, Tomeka "Tiny" Harris. According to TMZ.com, a group calling themselves "Citizens of the State of Atlanta, Georgia" [sic] has sent the court a petition trying to send the Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records emcee to drug rehabilitation instead of prison.
T.I.'s counsel has reportedly been made aware of the letter, but has no plans of using it in an appeal.
In other news, T.I.'s seventh album, King Uncaged has moved to a December 7 release date, according to Amazon.com. Many believe, however, that the album, said to feature production by DJ Toomp, Swizz Beatz and Trackademiks, will not see release until 2011. Atlantic Records has yet to send a formal press release on the project since the rapper's September arrest. Despite that, T.I.'s longtime artist Young Dro recently confirmed that T.I. did film between six and eight music videos to the album prior to his sentencing.

T.I. Won’t Be Charged For Drug Arrest
According to TMZ , the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the drug charge from T.I.’s arrest last month. Apparently, there’s technicalities regarding probable cause. Tip will still have to do jail time since the arrest was in violation of his probation. Lucky break, nonetheless.
