I knew 4 people on there, it's crazy

So sorry, guys. It's so horrific.

What really pisses me off is the photos of the wreckage being posted everywhere. No friend or relative needs to see the things in those photos. But people just treat it like some sort of gore porn. These are human beings for fuck's sake. :shakehead:

Yeah there's been quite a few photos of babies doing the rounds. Not sure all of them are really from the crash, not that it matters. :shakehead:

Sad. They were just innocent people passing through.
And lol @ silver trying to cover his tracks by deleting the post after it was quoted.

Charlotte wrote:Apparently it was a no-fly zone. Up to 32,000ft was declared unsafe, but the plane flew at 33,000ft. Why risk it though, I wouldn't fuck with that shit especially when you know how people are behaving there

Yeah, that flight corridor above 32,000ft was being used constantly (could have been any number of planes which makes the fact it happened to be a Malaysia Airlines plane that got hit even more unlucky). But technically there is technology to identify the aircraft flying. And even aside from that, a military plane or a cargo plane wouldn't be flying that high. I agree it's not worth the risk but I can understand the assumption that it was safe, too. I doubt the airlines had any inkling the rebels had got their hands on S-11s and were too stupid to realise civilian aircraft were flying that route.

But it's something that needs to change. Although I imagine ticket prices will go up as a result but hey, who cares as long as it's safe?

Biggest concern is how much of the wreckage has been tampered with. Pilots' bodies are still missing, I think. And in those leaked phone calls, one of the first questions was "where are the pilots?" - Worrying.
