It was just a really volatile situation. What really pains me to no end is the fact that they gave this poor girl a gun in the first place... It's pretty much common sense when it comes to gun safety... You don't give a minor a weapon. I mean for fuck's sake, what was he thinking? Now he's dead and she has to live with the fact that she is killed somebody, which is just terrible.

I feel really bad for everyone who is affected by this tragedy and I hope everybody pulls through.

I went to a gun range and got my hunting licence when I was 10. I practiced with automatic weapons under the supervision of gun instructors.

Plenty of kids do it.

Plenty of kids do drugs, I guess tbey're fine too.

I also got my minors firearm permit when I was a kid, I was 14. Never fired a fully automatic weapon though, just bolt action/pump action rifles and shotguns.

Children just don't understand the value of a life so they're never going to be as careful as a fully trained adult. Unfortunately in those situations things like this can happen.

It's legal in AZ for a minor to train with/fire a gun as long as a certified trained instructor is present. But yeah I get your point
