You can become a godfather for a child in Africa, sending him 35$ a month to feed him.

i think more people should do that. People should realize how its the developed countries that fucked, and still are fucking Africa.

i really don't know what to think about this celebrity adoption trend, it just reminds me of the "let's all get a chihuahua" trend - let's all flash our newest fashion item, only this time they're buying humans... but that's prolly too harsh, i dunno, of course it's great that she's funding programs n stuff, and i understand why she has to adopt if she wants more children since she's prolly too old to conceive any children herself anymore, but i just can't help wondering about the motivation behind it...

well ive sent money in donations before and i know people that work for these companies.

Find the one that looks the crappiest, has less "presentations" and advertizements, the humble ones. and donate through there. As fucked up as this world is, there ARE people who help and do shit.

I think its every persons duty to help another especially if we can, especially wen if u know how it feels to be broke(knowing that in some parts of the world people have even worse).

"It's amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world every day always just exactly fits the newspaper."

My basic disk will make you take a razor to your wrist
Make you satanistic
Make you take the pistol to your face
N place the clip N cock it back
N let it go until your brains are rippin out your skull so bad
To sew you back would be a waste of stitches

that wasn't really what i said, but actually it is if u have enough money - other ppl would've been on waiting lists for years to adopt but Madonna gets one real quick and from Malawi where you can't normally adopt as a non-resident - she even got to pick among 12 children, which isn't normal either in the adoption process n - call me a cynic - does seem like child-shopping to me
i do think it's great that this child gets a chance in life n it's great that ppl in Malawi get money to fund various projects, but i just can't help wondering why all of a sudden it has become a celebrity trend to adopt foreign children
