The Game has revealed he plans to 'kick David Beckham's ass' when the football legend touches down to play for L.A. Galaxy later this year, although the street tough rapper seems to have failed to grasp the rules of the game correctly.

Beckham signed a massive five-year deal last week that will see him move from one of the world's biggest football institutions, Spanish club Real Madrid, to L.A. Galaxy in California, worth an estimated $200m. He and faces the challenge of raising the profile of the beautiful game in a country ruled by American Football and baseball, with L.A. Galaxy playing in the relatively obscure Major Soccer League.

And the Game, who has challenged other sportsmen, including the WWE wrestler of the same name, says he has an unusual technique for facing Beckham, should the two ever meet.

"I'd kick David Beckham's ass on any given day," the rapper says. "I'd just pick the ball up and kick the s**t out of the stadium, game over."

He added that far from being the world's greatest right foot, Beckham was merely "pretty good" in his book.
