Three U.S. soldiers assigned to Multi-National Force-West were killed Thursday from wounds they received during combat operations in Anbar province, west of Baghdad, a U.S. military statement released Friday said.
The previous day four U.S. Marines were killed in the same province from "wounds sustained due to enemy action."
The most recent deaths bring the toll of U.S. personnel killed in the war to 3,117. -- CNN's Mohammed Tawfeeq contributed to this report.
