While still hard at work on his next album, LL Cool J spoke about collaborating with 50 Cent and the CD's new direction.
As previously reported, LL recruited 50 to executive produce his 13th solo album, tentatively titled Todd Smith: Pt. 2.
"It's been exciting," Uncle L said on working with Fifty. "It's gon' be a lot of fun just showing people what I can do and what we're capable of."
Though L plans on sticking to "hungry" producers, the Queens legend has been talking to DJ Premier about collaborating for the LP. He also promises that the CD will feature an LL his fans haven't seen in years.
"This is gonna be a very unusual album," he said. "I think people are gonna be pleasantly surprised. This has nothing to do with anything I've been doing for quite a while. I'm gonna give the world my feelings on the state of hip-hop."
