11/7/08 50 Cent, Weezy & Nas Say Goodbye To Rap City

Postby fearless31666 » Nov 8th, '08, 00:13

50 Cent will join Lil Wayne, Nas, Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J on the finale of BET's "Rap City" this weekend. The longest-running show on BET, "Rap City" started in 1989 and became the source for hip hop videos, interviews and freestyles. "I can't lie. It's sad to say good bye to 'Rap City,'" BET President Stephen Hill. Previous hosts Chris Thomas, Prince DaJour, Big Lez, Joe Clair, Mad Linx, J Nicks, Q45 and of course Big Tigger will also appear on the finale airing Saturday, November 8th at 10pm.

In related news, 50 Cent recently released his new video [watch here] for the track "Get Up." The first single from his upcoming album "Before I Self Destruct" features 50 in a futurist "California Love" type video and includes appearances from 50's label heads, Eminem and Dr. Dre.
