After trying for a December release date, 50 Cent has decided to push his album back to early 2009. Although fans will have to wait a little longer, 50 Cent makes it up by packing the new album, Before I Self Destruct, with huge bonus features. The album will include a DVD with a full-length original film of the same name that 50 wrote, produced, directed and stars in. The bonus features for the album don't stop there, a deluxe package will include a second DVD featuring “Two Turntables and a Microphone: The Life and Death of Jam Master Jay,” a documentary on 50's late mentor and friend, Jam Master Jay.

“Times are hard," 50 says “Everyone is trying to make the most of what they have. I want to give my fans something extra for their hard earned dollars. They’ll get a free bonus when they pick up the album.” For his new album, 50 returned to working closely with Dr Dre and Eminem, who both produce and appear on tracks.

The first single, "Get Up" [watch here], is produced by Scott Storch and features an extensive video where the G-Unit general is in an almost "California Love" video scenario. The video features appearances by both Eminem & Dr Dre and can be viewed by clicking here!
