11/18/08 Damon Dash Says Kanye Hates Jay-Z

Having his own financial problems [read here] isn't enough for Damon Dash, he apparently wants Kanye West and Jay-Z to share the wealth. In a recent interview with Complex Magaine, Dash says that Kanye has "hated Jay-Z" ever since an incident welcoming the rapper slash producer to Roc-A-Fella by giving him a chain in 2003.

Dash says that Jigga was supposed to give Kanye the chain during a concert in Chicago but at the lst second, refused. Dash says that he ended up having to do it himself and “That shit cost $40,000." Damon continued saying “I told Kanye, ‘Yo you got to give me that back when we get off stage.’”

Kanye's people have already said that the story is “ridiculous and totally false.” Most people think Damon Dash is just trying to get publicity for himself and Jim Jones, who recently launched “Hip-Hop Monologues: Inside The Mind Of Jim Jones.” The full interview with Complex will be posted on Wednesday.
