As we previously reported, Jermaine Dupri was recently fired from his President spot at Island Records, now the music executive is speaking out about the incident. JD says he wasn't happy there anymore "It was a situation where it felt very stagnant to me,” he told Essence Magazine. “As a person who is used to putting out new records and continuing to do that, it just wasn’t turning over as being that place to me where I should stick to it and see if it was going to turn around.”
In related news, a few new JD related songs hit the net today. JD remixed "Im In Miami" [listen here] plus teamed up with Bow Wow and Slim for a remix of "Good Lovin" [listen here]. JD and Bow Wow will also grace the cover of next month's issue of The Source Magazine check it out below!
