1/22/09 DJ Premier In Negociations With 50 Cent

Back in December, DJ Premier revealed that a beat he submitted to 50 Cent for his "Before I Self Destruct" album had been turned down. Recently 50 leaked a freestyle over the DJ Premier beat calling it "Shut Your Blood Clot Mouth" [listen here] Now the freestyle has had so much positive feedback that the G-Unit general actually wants to use the beat for his album. "We're kinda in the old negotiation process right now and that's where it stands," Primo said on his Sirius radio show. "I'mma leave it at that"

DJ Premier is excited about possibly working with 50 saying "I just wanna fuck with the dude just on the strength that I know how to keep it ghetto with him and I know how to bring 50 into the forefront of what the streets want," Premier said. "It’s a good marriage."
