More details on Lil Wayne's first rock album "The Rebirth" are starting to come out. The producers behind his first single "Prom Queen" [listen here], Infamous & Drew Correa, say "There were rumors Wayne was working on a rock album, but I assumed it was just 808 drums with guitars on it," Infamous said. "But, that night when we worked on the track, [Wayne] said he wanted lots of drums, bass and guitars. Drew started to add organs, and [Wayne] said no. That's when I realized it was actually going to be a real rock album. You gotta give him credit - he's done everything he can with hip-hop and has proven himself. Now he's about to prove himself as a rocker and we're excited to be a part of it."

As previously reported, Lil Wayne will release his first Rock album "The Rebirth" on April 7th. Wayne will perform the first single "Prom Queen" [listen here] for the first time live on AT&T's Facebook page on today, (1/27) between 9-10 p.m. PST
