Cash Money Records will throw Lil Wayne a Pre-Grammy party to celebrate Weezy's insanely huge year. After debuting number one with over a million units sold in the first week alone, "Tha Carter III" has since gone on to be triple platinum and earned the best-selling album status for 2008.

Wayne is nominated for 8 Grammy Awards, more than any other artist. Among the nominations, Wayne's "Tha Carter III" received a nomination for album of the year and best rap album as well as nods for the singles "Lollipop" featuring Static Major (Best Rap Song), "Got Money" featuring T-Pain (Best Rap/Sung Collaboration), "A Milli" (Best Solo Rap Performance) and "Mr. Carter" featuring Jay-Z (Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group).

The Cash Money Records Pre-Grammy Lil Wayne party will take place on Saturday (2/7) at the Montage Beverly Hills Marquesa Ballroom at 8 p.m.

Lil Wayne recently released the first single from his upcoming "Rebirth" album, his first Rock release. "Prom Queen" [listen here] hit the internet last week since which we have seen other rock-songs like "Hot Revolver" [listen here] that features Cash Money's artist, Kevin Rudolf.
