3/2/09 C-Murder Wins Small Victory, Continues House Arrest

Postby fearless31666 » Mar 3rd, '09, 21:09

C-Murder won a small battle recently. A judge in Grenta, LA ruled that the rapper did not violate the rules of his house arrest and rejected a request from the local prosecutors to return him to prison. Prosecutors provided witnesses and testimony that the judge felt fell short and saying that the times Corey Miller (aka C-Murder) allegedly strayed happened during "odd, " early-morning hours. "I've never heard of this in any other case, and I don't know what to make of it, " Judge Liljeberg said. "I'm not 100 percent convinced" that the home incarceration monitoring equipment worked properly.

As a condition of his $500,000 bond, the 37-year-old rapper is awaiting trial while confined to his grandmother's home in Kenner, LA. C-Murder is awaiting retrial on a fatal shooting murder charge from January 2002.
