Chris Brown appeared in court to be arraigned but his attorney Mark Geragos asked for and was granted a delay of the arraignment until April 6th [watch here]. Brown is apparently seeking extra time to possibly strike a plea deal as a picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident, which hasn't been seen anywhere publically, is reportedly "unbelievable." Brown signed a waiver so that he will not have to show up to any court proceedings before the 6th of April and only stated "yes," "yes," and "yes ma'am" during the appearance [watch here].
The judge then warned Chris "You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone." Rihanna's attorney stated that "Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order" [watch here], when asked if there was a "no-contact order" in place. The protective order against Brown allows Rihanna to record any phone conversations they have.
As we previously reported, Chris Brown could face a maximum of 4 years and 8 months in prison and the details of the alleged attacked were released via the case detective's notes [read here].
