5/12/09 Eminem Helps Laid Off Auto Workers

As we previously reported, Eminem will be hitting up the Jimmy Kimmel Live television show, not once, but three times this month for promotion of his new "Relapse" album. Eminem won't only be appearing on the show but he will be flying 200 laid off auto workers from plants near his home of Detroit and all around Michigan and Ohio, to Los Angeles for his May 15th appearance.

"He is flying us out, all expenses paid, for the show to put a face on the American auto workers who are affected by this hardship," Jon Michael Zapf, a man who works for Ohio Modular Management told the Free Press. "He is supposed to do a meet and greet and sign autographs."

Besides his appearances on Kimmel on the 15th, 19th and 22nd (on ABC), Eminem will also be on this Sunday's (May 17th) "Family Guy" cartoon series during several interstitial programming breaks through the entire night on FOX.
