i pity the foo that "doesnt believe" in global warming
of course the earth goes trough changes and one of them being climate-changes
in about 40.000 years i believe we gonna have another ice-age
thats just the way the world works, it follows its own rules .. its gonna explode sooner or later
but we as the human race are really messing with this with the amount of gasses we put out
it is getting hotter and icebergs are melting
i for one live in The Netherlands and i wouldnt like to see ma country "drown" in the next 40 years
cause that is gonna happen if its gonna continue at this rate
i dont think people understand the seriousnes of this
we should focus on is that it is really happening .. we are fucking up this planet
and we should do sumthing about it

just watch the movie....and al gore was wrong when he said the oceans would rise so much that we would lose a lot of land when actually they would only rise a few feet, so don't worry about losing ur country under water. we don't put out nearly as many gases into the atmosphere combined, as volcanoes do

and we can even learn about temperature changes from hundreds of years ago through ice samples,which is what they showed in that clip.

They showed nothing, they speculated, they said they found they found this and that, another scientist is gonna tell u they found a complete opposite. And 100 years of steep climate change isnt gonna be reflected on how the ice will be till people exploring it 1000 years after our era examine it

nobody said the gases don't exist, its just that we aren't the major contributors to it and they may not be the reason for the temperature changes.

We emit greenhouse gases 24/12/365 and continue increasing, it has already undoubted effect regionally(cities get warmer) and it has effects on the ice caps too since we dump waste in oceans and and in the atmosphere.

the earth is gonna be nonexistent some day, why couldn't it be now? why can't the earth be starting to go through a process that will kill us all?

The government profits from selling oil, its a major economic value, its not in their interest to support the global warming theory as it would put stress on them to implement immission regulation like the european union countries have. You're the one dickriding the industry in this case.


Besides, lets put it this way.... are u saying "lets pollute and lets emit, its getting hoter anyway, so why not just add some more greenhouse gases to keep in the extra heat the sun is sending us" ?

It doesnt make sense, you do CAN NOT argue that greenhouse gasses do not effect the invoroment.. as they clearly do, they make our cities polluted and unclean.. i don't see why you would not want to subimtt to cutting down emissions according to international law or better yet work on discovering new energy sources to replace this oil aristocracy that clearly just is too valuable to be switched to the new resources we have now. Cutting down emissions is the primary goal of people that bring up the global warming issue, its not that ur going to die from it in the next years, its a pretext that ur children will consume that shit that u will be emitting when ur dead.

Denying effect of the massive amounts of gases we produce on our planet, is bizarre and is just plain ignorant, since the actions taken for global warming precautions are only positive, its not like somebody is asking you to go to war.

Volcanoes errupt every like 100-400 years if not more, comparing an enourmous volcano that blows up islands to the amount of gas produced by cars during one day, would prolly make the numbers somewhat equal.

But we drive cars 365 days a year. thats definately more than one volcano erupting. Infact its like they are blowing up everyday.

But even cosidering that we emit even "less" then volcano's, we are still adding an extra constantly. Thats like a fat man telling you he wont stop eating, since hes already 5 ft wide and one hot dog more wont hurt him or his weak ass heart.

i really dont wanna argue cuz u will never change ur mind on anything, but i never said we shouldn't regulate it, and the government does have an interest in telling us this because yet again they wanna put fear into u. there is no real proof that u have that putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere is contributing to the earth's warming. it could just be a coincidence. its been a trend for hundreds and even millions of years probably, so of course the earth is gonna warm up and cool off like it is. and new energy sources are stupid. it takes more energy to produce most of them and to transport them than to just use the oil we have now, and it seems like they get nowhere with them. im not gonna put my money on the government or scientists finding something soon, when they kinda know that oil isn't majorly contributing to greenhouse gases and affecting us. they wanna try and just keep saying bs to make u believe in it, and believe that we need to change and that we should do something cuz they all want to be in office and have power. the government will do anything for power, and its obvious that this global warming nonsense has caught some ppl's attention, so they talk about it and its effects and then want us to vote them in office so they can help make the world better, which will never happen cuz all politicians are dumb. Comets can hit earth and cause the same effect green house gases would and kill millions... does that mean u want a comet to hit your planet? Seriously if not gonna back up ur own government statements on how they profit from inforcing emission policies don't talk about it. Coz what you're saying makes 0 sense. Y2K and bird flu and not comparable to global warming, id say its more like aids, afterall nobody thought it would spread with such desastrous proportions in the first place.

The government wouldnt make me feel feared if they controlled the industry on emissions and put money in to extra energy resources. It would make my life cleaner and better.

That green house gases can create a rise in global temperature? I do not even need to prove it, its basic science. Its been already proven and its the reason that emissions are now regulated.

They go drilling for ice in the artic.... because ice is the best recorder of atmospheric conditions for tens of thousands of years. And guess what. The ice cores extracted show a history of ever changing atmospheric conditions.

If it isn't man throwing tons of carbon into the atmosphere, it's undersea volcanoes. Volcanoes on land. Not to mention sulphur and all the other poisonous gases the earth produces.

Global warming happens. You cannot stop nature when she decides to turn. If anyone needs any proof, just look at New Orleans.

The only people who think they can prevent global warming are people deluded enough to believe that they can stop nature. And they can't.
