Agreed. People who voted for Obama only voted because he uses the word "change". WHAT THE FUCK is he going to change? Someone please explain to me. Is he really going to pull the troops directly out of the war? No. He is planning on "spreading the wealth" by taking money from people who actually work hard and earn a paycheck to support lazy crackheads living off the government. Obama doesn't even respect the American flag. It is ridiculous. I GUARANTEE over 75% of Obama voters did not know anything about who they were voting for.

Ideologically, I completely agree with the above comments, but I mean it's come to the point of it's over, people need to stop attacking Obama. Give the man a chance to act, and if America is better because of it, then good.

The election is over and I'm tired of people attacking Obama, as much of an avid supporter I am of McCain and had to feel all the hell of Obama being the craze of my high school since I live in San Jose, CA, once this thing is over, it's time to get behind our president.

No, because BlaqReaper... You are WRONG. A poll held by the official news team covering claimed that the estimate in polls was that 95% of black people that did not VOTE before, voted this year for Obama. THAT IS A FACT.

You miss my point McMaybe. I'm not saying the majority of blacks don't vote for Obama (in fact I'd be surprised if they didn't). My point is even if 100% of the black voters voted for Obama because of his race it means absolutely nothing. Their votes do not go directly to Obama's victory, but rather to an elector for a state. This elector can vote for anyone he/she wants, although he/she usually already pledged to one candidate prior to election. But my point is, these electors do not vote based on race or Obama being "hip" or "cool". These are knowledgeable political figures who choose their sides because of politics, not popularity. Our forefathers created the electoral college system on purpose so that the stupidity/ignorance of the masses will not determine the final result of Presidency. Once again, if you think the popular vote matters, then Al Gore would have been President and the last 8 years wouldn't have been a complete disaster.

the group that got Obama elected was white college educated people.
not blacks or young people. although there was a high turn out of both. and that's great! young people haven't been this involved since the 1960s and its wonderful Obama could make them interested in politics. i know quite a few black people who did not vote for obama by the way. if you want to talk about negative reasons why he got elected, its probably because of the hatred towards bush and mccain coudn't get far enough away...and the choice of palin. for the most part obama and biden did it because people really responded to what they said.
