Oil & Power Why I Think My American Government Is Stupid

Here is my plan of attack, which I think my government should think about.

1st: We need to start drilling oil in alaska and golf.

2nd: Cut of the middle east and the rest of the world from purchasing oil.

3rd: Build nuclear power plants.

4th: Make electric cars, so we can slowly get ride of all gas cars and charge up are electric vehicles with cheap nuclear energy.

by the time we run out of oil preserves in the US everyone will be driving an electric vehicles and gas vehicles will no longer be around.

bam I just solved the United States problem.

its really not that simple. Nuclear powerplants leave you with dead uranium (I think its uranium) that is extremely radioactive and there is nowhere to put it all.

I hate electric cars. I like fast cars and electric cars are slow.

First of all, we just found a lot of oil, so running out of oil is no longer a problem..we have tons.
Secondly, it takes a lot of politics to do all of that, it's a bureaucracy, people don't know shit, and politicians have to talk to the people.
Thirdly, nuclear energy is a good idea, but will never be utilized to it's max in the U.S.
Sorry, you can call the American Government stupid, but if you were leading this country theres nothing better you could do

drilling in Alaska and the "golf" of Mexico would be acceptable for long term, but in the next year or so it wouldn't help much if at all. But we should've done so in the 90s.

2nd: Cut of the middle east and the rest of the world from purchasing oil.

cut off China from buying oil? lolololol. They'll put the final nails in the economy's coffin.

3rd: Build nuclear power plants.

electric cars? hahahaha, thats only a temporary solution, we got alot of natural and other resources here than can last us ( australia ) 70+ years in fuel , but duno, heard on news, also, electric cars, every 5 years, the battery dies, and it costs $7,000 - $10,000 to replace that battery, untill the technology improves,fuck that

plus u gota live in the city,drive slow for it to work, push the car and the petrol engine kicks in, and its a small engine with a heavy battery, LMAO

if we created low cost energy it would create more jobs. thats why i say nuclear.
the american government talks about doing this all the time. its not that we are short on oil its the fact that it cost more to get oil in the grounds of alaska and middle east. the minerals involved in alaska make it harder to sperate oil. the way americans drive which i know most of you have no idea in other parts of the world you would see the amount of gallons this county goes through daily. also we have spent billions of dollars testing this site which i cant remeber the name of where its safe to store dead uranium, its been tested for many years now. 80% of france runs on nuclear. for now it think its the best idea till we come up with new better sources for energy, in which will probably be in at least the next couple hundred years. and last for people who think electric cars cant go fast you better check things out again. we as amricans need to stop feeding the middle east. there already building the tallest building in the world. we are just making them rich.

for the person who talked about ethanol, yes that by far the dumbest energy source ever. i live in the midwest states. we have ethonal plants everywhere. its good for the farmers here but its not a good source of energy. i noticed every farm here has its own wind power which is kind of intresting but at the same time that doesnt create much energy, you would need a million of them.

I just hope they get electric cars working good, cause the oil is gonna be gone soon.

Or even Solar power/Electric cars would be kick ass....just run on solar during the sunny parts of the days (when they of course get solar cheap and working good) then just use Electric if it's cloudy or night time

Thats would be a good idea to, solar power. Its just kinda hard because you would need alot of solar panals.

yeh and then its still 10k after those miles,and its only GM, plus the batterys end up in land fill, bad shit all round, electric cars right now are terrible
