Exactly...the Mayans never even said the end of the world was on that day, did they? They just stopped their calender. Nothing was said about it I don't believe, correct me if I'm wrong though.

not saying the end of the world is factual of course.

simply stated they said it will be the end of the world... as we know it.
some have taken it literally as doomsday others suggest we will be given a major increase in knowledge or technology to assist us.

it all falls on whether you believe aliens helped egyptians build the pyramids.
their calendar IS right as far time goes regardless of leap days, they didnt say a date. they gave a time from which they starded their calendar. which was 3000 somethin years ago. these added dates equal 12 21 2012. theyre calendar system TODAY is on decimals off what our calendar system is, but the mayans acknowledged after the fifth decimal they could be .20 off

throughout history we have had genuises way beyond there time.. take da vinci,
he was an artists, dissapeared to the point where we have no document of where he was for years.
when he came back he was OBSESSED with making models of the human body, figuring out how it worked. also making the first ever robot, the next one would not be made for 300 years. also the design we use today for holicopters and tanks and planes, we would not have these today if it were not for a painter 500 years ago. many believe he was tutored by a higher power.

but why the mayans started the calendar when they did. there have been finding that the EXACT date of when they started it, before they existed, a meteor hit causing a black out of the sun killing all life.
how could they have known this... they believe that every 5000 somethin years an alignment of everything in the milky way and the largest black hole in the universe occur. and because of them being aligned we will either be sucked in, or our magnetic polarity will be reversed, which there is evidence that it has done so before.

the mayans and egyptians used symbols that are adopted by NASA today, NASA also has its first document saying never to tell the world what they find in space missions because the world would panic if they knew. i think the general population needs to except extra terrestrials and that they may have intervined with our knowledge or possibly given us life to start out with.
if that can be true we must except their calendar system was not at all random and they were incredibly aware of space and the alignments that they had never seen, but were possibly told about.

as i said before it may not be the end period,more of the end were used to,
but its deff odd to say the least that they had tools, building methods, and more advanced grasp of the stars than even we do today.

The 2012 theory doesn't blatantly suggest "the end of the world" as if it's black and white, it just offers the view of a new cycle. I have no idea though, it'd be interesting if something happened lol

That's how i feel about it all. I enjoy Apocalypse talk, documentaries & movies related to it and i know it's all rubbish but it's entertaining to think about and watch.
