How do you feel about teens who commit suicide?

While the Amanda Todd story was what inspired your thread, you didn't specify that it had to be about her. How do we feel about teens that commit suicide? Everyone posted their thoughts, and most of them weren't singling out this particular situation.

What's so different about Amanda Todd...? The fact that she flirted with many guys before, the fact that she got beat up because she slept with another girl's boyfriend, or the fact that she was known to sleep with plenty of dudes?

If she was still alive you'd all be calling her a hoe, slut, whore...but now that she's dead she's suddenly a sweet angel? Bullshit.

I don't feel pity for her because she already offed herself, I feel sorry for those strong enough to endure all this bullshit. Instead of hopping on Facebook saying "Oh how come no one helped Amanda R.I.P." why don't you go help that lonely kid at lunch you always see?

We shouldn't be talking about some girl that killed herself over problems SHE HERSELF caused. We should all be talking about the ones (like I've said above) enduring the bullying. They're the ones that need our help.

Stop giving pity to a dead girl, give it to the ones that deserve it.

You just have no idea the psychological state that she was under. Not everyone thinks the same, not everyone processes things in the same way and not everyone perceives the world in the same way. She could have had serious problems in her brain. Don't you think if she felt like she had anyone to go to that she would have or if there were any other options that she would have taken them? She felt like she was all on her own and that she had no one to help her and that her life was to the point where she had no choice but to kill herself. Is it the easy way out? Yes. Should anyone do it? Of course not. But the fact is that thousands of teens feel like they have no other choice and to sit here and call them week and tell them that they need to suck it up and learn how to do with their problems is not even coming close to fixing things.

I show no pity to those who have taken their lives. It's over for them. I feel sorry for those going through this shit on a daily basis. Mind the people you see that are alone in life, they're the ones that need our kind words, not Amanda Todd or any other teenager that has taken their life due to bullying.

When did I say this? All I said was that she slept with the girl's boyfriend, she should have expected the consequences. The girl and Amanda got in a one-on-one fight, she could have easily defended herself.

I just looked up the Amanda Todd story and she got tricked into sending nudes to an online stalker and everywhere she went, this dude followed her and released her photos everywhere and was constantly blackmailing her for more photos. How in the FUCK do you not feel bad for her and are going to call her weak? Every school she went to she was bullied, fought and made a ridicule of. This girl was 15 years old. Yeah she made some bad decisions but nobody deserves that. You guys disgust me.

I agree with this. Suicide is a terrible thing to do, but i would never call those people cowardsor weak. I understand people wanting to kill themselves when theyre in emotional pain every single day of their life.
