That is not answering #1 at all.
#1 concerns the origin of life / origin of the universe.

Funny. The Bible forbids tattoos anyway.

And if you say some of it is metaphorical; which is metaphorical? What's your criteria for what is and isn't literal?
Well, you could take it literally. Tattoos could be dangerous with unclean needles not to mention the potential regret. The concept of treating your body like a shrine isn't really a bad thing.
You know...you try really hard to diss the Bible and its teachings

Menzo wrote:Things change meaning people just get lazy / lenient towards things. Genesis has always been said not to be overly scrutinized and interpreted as direct truth, but there are certain types of Christians that choose to read every word as literal.
The foundation of every teaching isn't subject to change, like I said earlier, we like to convince ourselves that bending the meanings to fit our modern era is acceptable.

I'm sorry, but how? You read the theory of evolution and weren't convinced? I don't understand this. How can you not be? It's as much a fact as gravity...

No. My family has identified as Christian, but that doesn't mean I ever have. And no, it's not a relevant question.
@evolution being as real as gravity: are you high?

Nope. Never been high lol
And the THEORY of evolution is the same height of reality as the THEORY of gravity. "Theory" in science means the most accepted explanation of the facts and observable phenomena. Evolution is the best explanation we have of the fossil record, DNA, the gene pool, etc. Same with gravity...

A theory is nothing more than a person's system used to explain how or why something is. It's not fact. I never even said creationism is fact. I stated I believe in it.

Something cannot come from nothing, as has already been proven. Nothingness lacks any form of base. However, "whatever begins to exist has a cause."
Does that mean we can explain everything? No. Were we alive when all this shit started? No. It's all speculation.
