he wasnt horrible war tactician. he had the best commanders. Hitler mad a lot of mistakes during this war, which made him loose. mistakes like :
- during war in england, it was Hitler's decision to bomb London. ONLY London. just to destroy City. If he decide to destroy all of british factories, Brits wouldnt produce weapons, tanks etc, and then germans would without any problems win battle with england
-Normandy. when Ally soldiers landed on the beaches <im not talkin about paratroopers right now :P >
Hitler was sleeping. Erwin Rommel <"hero" of battle in Africa <btw later he get killed cause of trying to kill Hitler> > was begging Hitler to get an permision to use Hitler's own 2 tank's divisions, to block allies on the beach. He said smth like "no, nobody can move my divisions. now let me sleep"
if he give a permission, then for sure Allies would loose battle on normandy.
during war with russia?
ok BlitzKrieg was good idea, fast srtong attack, but what then? Lines of Nazi soldiers were huge. there was no way to supply every soldiers who was there. also, Hitler like Napoleon.. Ignored Russia winter.
he wasnt good tactician at all. he had commanders, who btw recognized in 1945, that war is loosed, and there's no sense to keep fightin, but Hitler also was ignoring them about that.
for me, and other people around me, in my town, country, in other countries, here on forum, he was evil. he's not evil only for nazi-lovers man. but it's really huge minority
