Arguing with a religious person is moronic. You're arguing with 2000 years of indoctrination for fuck's sake. If their mind is too weak to think for itself then there's no way in hell you'll actually reach them from the outside.

On: I'm free. Not an atheist, not a religious person. I don't know if there is a god, I don't know if everything is completely rational. Will believe it when I see it. What I do believe is that people are yet to stupid to be capable of understanding everything. It seems though that with every year science claims more and more of god's credit. I'm extremely curious what will religious people make up in a hundred years to actually convince people about their faith.

So, what about the universe which contains the solar system and the planets which go around the sun in circles, there are about billions stars nearly in every galaxy and there are about millions of galaxies
and what about the human body and if you asked me what is the best machine i would say the human body, it's so complicated. Just give one machine which is more complicated/better/. Don't tell me those ain't evidence ! They can't be exists by sudden! They can't be come from nowhere. There's must be one who created all these. You can't say I won't believe in god until I see him ! And I'm sure that alot of things that you believe in you haven't seen it.

I believe there is some kind of God/Higher Being/Entity we don't quite understand, but I don't think any religion at the moment has the right idea. I don't worship said entity, but I believe it exists.

Ok, following that logic, who created the creator? Why don't the exact same rules apply to him? Everything begins somewhere, so what's his story? If this is your reasoning for believing in god...lmao.

Well, the Bible says God was always present, the Creator wasn't created. Scientists say the universe came to existence from one single, always present point of energy.

Scientists have never made any claims on knowing the 'beginning' of the universe. There have only been theories. Don't equate the level of certainty of a scientific theory and the level of certainty of which the Bible claims to have.

Anyway, answering the poll I am also agnostic on the technicality that I am a scientific skeptic. My "belief" is that God doesn't exists, which would make me atheist... but outside the fairytale world of religion a whimsical, unfounded belief isn't something a person should live their life by.

The human body is an amazing thing, along with the other life on this planet. But the complexity of all the organisms you see now is the result of an equally amazing, simple process - evolution. Rather than appealing to a God to create everything, this theory explains logically how you can begin with extremely simple life forms and end up with what we have today. After Darwin discovered evolution, there is no need for God. What you see around you today didn't come from nothing, it slowly but surely happened over billions and billions of years.

Thirdly, a God who created the universe and all its complexities must be at least as complex as what he has created. Therefore, who created God? And surely that is an even harder question to answer because that being is EVEN more complex (as the other guy said).

The problem here is that humans try to put a cause to everything, that's the way we evolved because it is a useful survival tool. Why must the universe have been created?

How can you say that science can explain why there are planets, stars etc. Not everything they say is true. They're claiming they know, but they don't know. What are their theories ?! How can they say how planet was created or from where and from what ? their ideas/knowledge/explanation are based on false theories.

No, evolution ain't the right answer. Human are human. We're not animals which are developed along billions of years. And even IF the evolution theory was right in the past there were simple life so, From were did the simple life come from (Even this theory can't be done without the idea of presence of god) ?

well, 1st no one saw god no one know how he looks like.Therefore, we don't know everything. what we know (the only thing) is God exist. we don't know if god was created or not. As I said no one knows everything. In my religion (Islam) we will know everything about god and see him in the judgement day.
