Well in a country like USA where African American's faced heavy racism attacks, I think most of the African American's felt safe voting for him. Never has there been an African American president before, like Tash said, they weren't able to sit in the front row seats of the bus, now there's a African America dark skinned male as president of USA. Surely that must some how relate to other African Americans.

If you had family who faced those racism attacks, wouldn't you be more than glad to vote for Barrack Obama? Since that's the only way African American's can say in your face to the KKK. Yeah I agree, but that's not racism in the world we live in today. That's just a common thing. If there was an election held for Best rapper of all time and the two main candidates were Eminem & 2pac than this whole site but a few will vote for Eminem, and most of the people on this site are white.
