Should murderers be jailed for life?

i think they should be jailed for life cause murder is a serious crime. they shouldn't be able to commit murder and only be in jail for 10-30 years while some people who have committed less serious crimes get more jail time. If they're not jailed for life they'll have another oppurtutnity to murder someone. jail for life is better than getting a death sentence imo cause if they're in jail they suffer more than if they were dead

I agree that God shud be the one who decides, about whether or not I think jail for life is good, I do, but after having lived in Denmark I have come to understand that a life sentence means so much, because here for instance a life is 12 years, which I think is way too short, but then you wont be much good to society and u wont be able to change if ya spend your entire life behind bars, but then at the same time you killed someone, and that person wont even have 12 years. So yeah its a tough call.

i don't know some should be jailed for life...but in some cases i don't know..
if a 16 year old boy kills someone and had to stay in jail for the rest of his life that would be wrong i think, cuz he is so young.. you have to see the situation when someone kills another person, if the person that did it would be a pschyo that i'll say: for life

Some of them stay for life, some only for 10 yrs. Depends if it was commited with premeditation or in affection or if murderer was mentally ill and so on. But most of them deserve death penalty, it's obvious..

I think if they've killed more than 3 people, then forgot life, fucking kill their ass. They decided to play God, so let us play God in return. I've posted most of my thoughts in the Death Penalty thread. In there I stated there was a guy, who they found all 150 of his murdered victims, THAT HE GAVE THEIR LOCATIONS. Should he rought in prison for life when he murdered 150 people? Fuck no. Sad thing is, his final words before execution was, I murdered 271 women total, and have raped more than 300 but I let some of them go. Fucking bastard. The other 121 victim's bodies have yet to be found. But there's no doubt in official's eyes that he killed 271 people. He was on Death Row for over 20 years, they know there was 150 murder victims because as soon as his execution date neared, he'd give them another location for a few of his dead victims. Sick ass. Do you really think he should have roughted in jail for life? This might change your mind. One of his victims was his niece, a 7 month old baby. He raped that child, not molested and touched, but raped her and killed her. That little child suffered, and he choose someone who couldn't fight back. So should he have recieved the death penalty or rought in jail? That's your decision, but mine is he shoved have been tortured and raped himself before they decided to be a merciful person and end his life because he was begging for it. Motherfucker, Pee Wee Gaskins, you got the fucking easy way out. There's no way I could have been a gaurd and gaurded him, I would have been fired for beating his ass and letting some fucking "life sentenced" prisoners have their way with him.
