No, I think not.

I'm surprised Republicans haven't tried to pass something like this though.
"America...just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable" — Hunter S. Thompson

"Poison the well, your enemies are thirsty!" — Modest Mouse

Norway has an endless debate about this... mostly it's about hijab, not turban or any other, because... you know... the ones with hijab are muslims... and muslims? Well, they are bad, baaad people.

I think niqab, which covers the whole face should be banned, not hijab, that only covers the hair and around the shoulders.

Why should it be banned? People should wear whatever they want to wear. Why is everyone always hating muslims?

It's because there are ignorant people who feel uncomfortable around every Arab looking person.

Plus there are intellects who hate religion.

They've got smart people and stupid people disliking them for different reasons.

i don't care people should be able to live their religion as they want if it's their own choice and they respect those of others.

but I prefer to see the face of people I think it's just more interesting when you talk to someone.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

If it's part of someone's religion to wear something then let them wear it...also what BigBoss said.

I can understand the reasoning, however until they firmly enforce persons showing their full faces - then why should they even go down this road?

People wear large glasses that cover their face, hats pulled down, scarfs, etc... I can understand the law but maybe they need to think about the real intentions with a law such as this.

And I cannot see how Turbans would be included since it is moreso a hat, or head covering. We do not ask men to remove -all- items covering their nature head - nor women, and I'm sure this would cause an uproar.

I think everything should be banned, except for the normal headscarf which covers only the hair.
But, I also think those should be banned in public places like schools, governmental buildings and working places.

^ they can wear them in their free time. And I dont mean to discriminate muslims, all religious signs would have to be hidden in schools and governmental buildings.

Care to elaborate on that?

She refused to take off her headscarf because she wanted to show her love for Allah. That's dumb.
