I have different morals to you then.
And I think you are committing the naturalistic fallacy.

I don't think I did. I'm saying the purpose of any species is to pass on their genetic material.
Humans really did get too smart for their own good. Moral dilemmas have caused our genetics to become fucked up. We keep the weak alive long enough to procreate and even transplant organs from dead people into those who are not (quite).
Of course, I'm not saying it's wrong... Just that if we had no morality, or empathy, we would be a stronger race because it really would be survival of the fittest.
CrashBand wrote:Yeah. I think just because we are lucky enough to be born smarter / better looking / stronger then someone else doesn't mean we should not help those less fortunate.
I think we should show compassion.
SliK wrote:Human nature doesn't allow us to be selfless like that.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that we shouldn't help the sick/weak. It's merely an observation that we have weakened our gene pool.

Yeah I think if everybody cared about one another and tried to help each other out then everyone would be a lot better off. People think that they always need to look out for themselves but if everybody looked out for everybody then you would have the whole world helping you as opposed to only you helping yourself.

Rape and murder are both very, very common.
