Yeah me too, now I don't understand after hearing the arguments how anyone could still possibly believe in free will but I guess that's just how it goes.

consciousness is strange phenomenon indeed considering that it is made of the same particles such as anything in this universe. What gives us consciousness while rock doesnt have one? Or why we have different emotions and feelings in the first place.

I think that if humans were like robots (without consciousness or feelings) then they couldnt adapt to as big variety of different circumstances as we can now.
If you see a hand behind a wall, you know there is a human, but it is really hard to get machine to understand it just by detecting the hand.

Also there is no free will yolo

If free will is not real, then atheists don't have the free will to believe in non free will.

You must believe in free will because you have no choice. If you're saying you do have a choice, then that means you're saying you have free will.

Why do guys like Dawkins and Harris try so hard to convince us that we have no free will? Because it liberates them.
