Nigga and nigger are definitely two different contexts. One is friendly, usually, and the other is an insult. I agree with Em's use of faggot, that he disses people who are bitches and not gay people. That's how I always use it. "Shut the fuck up, you faggot!" I never actually believe that they are gay lmao. It means like "motherfucker" or "bitch" or whatever. It doesn't mean gay to me in most cases.

Words aren't intrinsically offensive cuz they're just sounds. Words exist so we can express how we feel, so the problem isn't the word 'nigger' or 'faggot'. The problem is bigotry..racism/homophobia/whatev. Removing the words 'nigger' and 'faggot' from the minds of every person in the world won't remove the desire to express these people's dislike towards gay/black people. And because they still want to express how they feel, they will use language as a means to do so.

Also... words like 'Fuck' and 'shit' are known as curse words because we've found it socially beneficial to have words that encapsulate our anger.. and people will continue to be offended by these words because we need them to. Like a dog's growl... just a sound.. but of course dogs use it to convey their dissatisfaction and other dogs/animals need to interpret this dissatisfaction correctly in order to survive. However, we are a lot smarter than dogs and we can use our 'growls' sarcastically, or in reference to an event...and our 'growls' can have multiple meanings depending on context.... so it's silly to just say that all instances of any one sound is bad.

Now, if you are neither of these types of people, you have no business going out in public and saying those words.
