Che Guevara (Poll)

First of all I don't know if iconic is really a word :p
Now I don't think he would've attained the level of fame he has today but maybe there would have been some more socialist revolutions in the world.

i think no

he died for his cause which is the ultimate price

if he was still alive today he would be a legend but not as much as he was when he is dead

seconded. Plus the US would most likely label him a "terrorist" and work to defame him.

socialist or not a socialist, the man fought for his country, and well deserved his image. American pigs only boosted his influence by killing him.

Yeah I know & completely agree that he deserved his image. What I'm asking is would he have gotten this status. I mean no matter where in the world you are you are sure to see his picture or hear his name. Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro none of them achieved this kind of fame. I mean I know many people who think Stalin is some brand name or underground rapper or something.

Well because Stalin, Mao, Castro had/have more power, executive power, and every little thing can be blamed on them, and every consecutive leader just blamed them to clear his own name. Che was a revolutionary fighter, like the partisans during the WW2. No sane person on this planet can blame Che for being a war-doctor with a great mind who thought against a fascist regime Cuba had before castro.

He's like the 2pac of politics, bordering between people/people with power
