Global Warming- Real or a Hoax?

I want to see what people believe about global warming. I'll post my views once a debate gets started.

The global warming as caused by humans is just lies and falsehoods. The earth experienced an abnormally warm climate some time in the 17 or 1800s way before the industry we have today.

Also the entire solar system is undergoing climate change because the Sun is getting hotter and other cosmic activity. The ice caps on Mars are receding, and SUV emissions cant possibly be causing that.

Norway's weather has changed a bit. In the year 2007, the summer had only rain. And now in the winter sometimes it's snowing and sometimes it's not, and it wasn't like that in 2006 ..

I think the global warming is somewhere, it has not "started" that much, but I don't think it's completely out of "action"

Honestly, I think all this global warming bullshit is a scam by companies (like GE) who want to make profit and liberals who are trying to push their own agenda.

There is absolutely no scientific proof of global warming, just bullshit theories trying to scare people. I mean god Al Gore has got the country so brainwashed people don't even look into it or do research before they go crying that all the damn polar bears are dieing.

Back to companies like GE who tries to spread the word of global warming in order to sell more of their energy efficient cars. I mean god when NBC or whatever ran their "Green week" and tried to promote global warming and trying to get people to buy clean cars and shit their owned by GE who makes the cars! It's a scam for companies to push their products.

And it doesn't help that all the teachers in the schools push global warming on kids. I mean my science teacher told the class the almost every scientist believed in global warming and the few who didn't were all paid by the oil companies. That then leads all the ignorant kids in my school to start crying about how were all going to die by 2012 and theres almost no more polar bears.

I'm not even saying that global warming should just be ignored, or it's bad to save power or we shouldn't use alternate forms of energy just that it makes me sick that Al gore and the liberal media has completely brainwashed society into believing Global warming and not even thinking about the possibility of it not be 100% accurate.

How can you look at 100 years of the earths history see an increase in temp and immediately claim it's our fault? The earths weather changed a long time before we started doing anything and the increase we've seen recently can't be proved to be anything but normal. How do you explain the Ice age?

I guess it just doesn't make sense to me...If you want to believe in it fine, everyone has their own opinion but at least take a look and consider what the other side is saying before you continue to suck Al-gores dick.

Oh and Al Gore is the biggest damn hypocrite ever. Hes flying around in private jets that probably emit more crap into the air then I would driving a car for a year And he wasn't me to turn down the temp in my house?

hoax, Al Gore way for the perfect fraud, every 30-40 years we go through global cooling then global warming, 50 years ago we had hotter summers than we ever had now, we have never had a higher global temp on earth compared to 1870, and were was all this carbon crap back then, no millions of cars,factorys, nothing.


in 1970 they were tryna scare us with global cooling, now its global warming, we will be back into global cooling soon, only a pure idiot would beleieve this Al gore crap.

Al Gore film about this, there was over 30 facts proven wrong, then al gores scientists turned around and said totally different things than what was told in the movie.

we did have a terrible drought, our dam levels were at 30% last year, now after all this non stop rain, our dam levels have rose to alost 70% , which is amazing.

Our government is stupid in everyway, we have a rapidly growing population and they fail to make more dams, no wonder our water consumption is through the roof, they have no clue, plus every now and then we have long bouts of no rain, like once everyone hundred years, thankfully 2007 was the year we had no rain, it has just turned around.

You can't just look at 5-6 summers and call it global warming. Such a short time has no relevance in the big picture and is no proof, let alone evidence of global warming.

yeah, but i bet my parents can look at, say, 40 summers/winters and call it a CHANGE. it won't happen in 5 years, but it's certainly happening all the time, the global warming thing. we kinda fucked up the atmosphere, you cannot disagree with that. and yes, i've known about the Sun thing since years.

Ok, my view point is that global warming is in fact a hoax.

The founder of the Weather Channel said that global warming is the "greatest scam in history"

"An Inconvenient Truth" is propaganda. The government wants to impose a CARBON TAX and uses this film as yet another method of producing fear among the people. It's fear mongering at it's best.

Satellite readings of temperatures in the lower troposphere (an area scientists predict would immediately reflect any global warming) show no warming since readings began 23 years ago.

Only land based temperature stations show a warming, do not cover the entire globe, and are often in areas contaminated by heat from nearby urban developments, making those readings error-prone.

Manmade carbon emissions are only 5% of all greenhouse gasses. Volcanoes alone produce more carbon dioxide than mankind's activities.


Also, theres no ozone "layer" at a set thickness but ozone does exist and helps us tremendously (can also be utilized to benefit one's own health but that's a different story) . There are supposed "holes" in the ozone layer but this is also false for most part because it's only measured at the north and south poles which are the only places "holes"could ever occur. Why? because ozone forms when the oxygen of the planet hits the radiation from the sun at a certain height. If there's no oxygen due to lack of plants, etc, than there's a hole. If the ozone layer layer was what they claimed than there would be holes all over the place by now especially in New York, London, Los Angeles, etc.
