It gets so annoying seeing this McMain vs Obama shit I seriously don't get why people are making a big issue out if it it's not like that we have much of a say. It gets so annoying to see shit like "Oh your a racists for not voting for Obama." and also "I'm not voting for him his name sounds like osama or bomber." Wake the fuck up dumb ass's. We got no say when it comes down to the government anyways as much as I want Obama to win just rub the shit in to the fact to where a brown person can actually do something in governmet means nothing to the people. The only problem is the gas prices raising but their lowering, which bush cant help. Curiously how old are you? I'm surprised (and glad) you don't feel the impact by the economy. Honestly, I don't really either, but I know that's cuz my parents are supporting me, but they are worried with all these banks collapsing and going bankrupt. It's not a good time for the U.S. and just because you aren't feeling the impacts doesn't mean others aren't either. You might be in a better situation than others. The next President inherits all these problems and hopefully fix it, or set our nation back on track.

I only asked age because I wanted to know if you're financially supporting yourself or not. But the money issues are more serious than you put it. If a bank closes, it loses all your money you know? It's not being greedy when you lend your friend $100 bucks and he's like you know what? I can't pay it back (and then runs away). What's worse is if your friend asks for a $700 billion dollar loan from you (it's all tax payers money) to help pay back the money they borrowed from you in the first place. Get what I mean? It's not about getting more money, it's about not sinking into another Great Depression.

But I agree with you. Politics, especially this election year, has become too dirty for my liking. I'm sure both McCain and Obama are great leaders in their own respect and love this country. Honestly, I'm just scared of Palin.

To ask people to simply not care is idiotic. If everyone thought like you and didn't care then what would happen? Yes one vote might not change anything, but the education and the continuance of knowledge makes the candidates not only tender to us and try to give the American people what THEY want, it also continues the very fabric of democracy.

But what happens when all the money you rightfully earn and have stored suddenly vanish and are worth nothing? I'm not saying it's happening to a lot of people now, but it could become a reality and that's scary.

We're young and eventually government will effect use more when it comes to things like retirement and taxes, mortgages and healthcare, it's just hard to realize it when we're young. So if we try to get a president in who we think will help is in the long run then we will have done our jobs imo.

generally i don't mind listening to what happens outside my country, i think everyone should know [more or less] what's happening far behing the border, but during the election time it's getting crazy. i hate election in Poland, i hate seeing their faces on billboards, newspapers, TV, getting fliers on every street corner and seeing them on my doormat. and now, we're overhelmed with the election in the USA, which is going to have some impact on our lifes [like cancelling the visas or ending the war, which would bring out troops home], but jeez, i can't do ANYTHING about it, it's not my country and it's not MY choice.
