College Dropout & Late Registration are near-classics, graduation = very good album

College Dropout was a damn good album, Late Registration was the worst imo, and Graduation was another damn good album. 808s and Heartbreak is R&B and obnoxious. And no there's no way in hell he's in my personal top 5-10 alive, let alone dead or alive.

As far as popular music goes Kanye is usually pretty decent and I do like a fair amount of his shit, but overall dude is average. Mechanically he's very average. His rhyming and flow are so plain. His song concepts are ok and the topics he covers were cool in College Dropout, but Graduation was pretty much all about the same shit past like 3-5 songs.

I'm not saying he's bad, I just don't think he's as good as you seem to.

Graduation is alright but after that

His beats are more cut paste now with a few exceptations

I was quite a big fan of Kanye up until Love Lockdown.

Stronger was a fucking insane song.

Then next thing i know he's attempting to sing and he sounds like an even worse T-Pain.

If Kanye's next album goes back to rapping again, i'll be more than willing to accept him back into my library, as he was one of my top, but at this moment in time his music sucks dick.

I was fine with him using it on 808s because it was an experimentation album and he can't sing.

Although, I think it's an easy cop-out. If he really wanted to suffer for his art as he was trying to imply he did for that album then why not learn how to sing as apposed to taking the easy route out.

The College Dropout and Graduation are great albums.

His ego is a little inflated and is getting a bit boring. I think if he shrunk his head a little and went back to rapping he could be a great.

Definitely needs to ditch the vocal toy now.
